Our Purpose..
The North Carolina State Massage Championship is more than a competition — it is a vibrant, community-driven gathering of licensed massage therapists and massage therapy students who are passionate about growth, excellence, and connection.
This event brings together professionals who are eager to refine their skills, explore new techniques, and be inspired by the incredible work of their peers. It is a space where therapists can confidently showcase their talent and dedication while learning from others who share the same commitment to the craft.
Our environment is intentionally created to cultivate professional growth, strengthen personal practices, and elevate the massage industry within our community. Through meaningful networking, collaboration, and shared experience, we aim to raise awareness of the profound benefits of therapeutic touch.
The North Carolina State Massage Championship is a place to connect, to be inspired, and to inspire others — all within a fun, supportive, and rewarding atmosphere.
Who Can Participate?
Any licensed and insured massage therapist can enter.
Any massage therapy student can enter.
Any out-of-state LMTs can enter and win in a category, but will not be able to win overall for the state through final rounds or final scoring average.
A licensed and insured Esthetician can enter the Facial Massage Category.
How to Register:
You must fill out a registration form with NC Massage Championship.
This includes an upload of your license, insurance and government issued ID.
You are fully registered once your non-refundable fee is paid in full.
Choose your Categories:
Swedish, Sports, Wellness, Thai, Clinical, Eastern Freestyle, Western Freestyle, Facial Massage, Student and Barefoot Bodywork.
Contestants may enter up to THREE categories total. You can compete in one category more than once.
Students are only allowed to compete in one category (Student Category).
Non-Refundable Registration Fees:
Professional Registration
(First 2 categories) $150
+ Additional Category ($50)
NC Student Registration $100
Participants will also receive massage therapy.
You may promote your personal style, businesses, schools, etc.
Participation/Dress Code:
Participants must bring their own tables, mats, sheets, towels, tools, etc.
Participants are allowed to wear personal sponsorship clothing or any other appropriate uniform/attire that fits the category.
Participants must wear sports shoes,
sports pants, or yoga pants, T-shirts, scrubs, etc.
All Participants must wear underwear no matter category.
Shoes are not allowed in Thai category.
